Brant County and area residents have an opportunity to get an up close look at local agricultural on Sept. 12.

That’s when Farm Crawl Brant, a one-day self-guided tour of five local farms takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“Brant’s agricultural community plays an important role in our local economy and helps shape the character of our rural communities,” Zach Gable, the county’s director of economic development and tourism said in a statement.

“Farm Crawl Brant provides a unique opportunity for residents and visitors to connect directly with local farmers, learn about agriculture and experience everything our farming community has to offer.”

The five participating farms include: Glenridge Hazelnuts in Glen Morris; Moore Farms, located just outside of Paris; Brantview Apples and Cider, in St. George; Browndale Farm, Paris; and Blue Gable Acres in Paris.

Visitors receive behind-the-scenes experiences while exploring a variety of farms throughout the county. Each stop will offer a unique opportunity to discover how local food and agricultural products are grown, raised and produced.

“We are incredibly fortunate to have a farming community that is eager to share its passion and expertise with others,” Gable said. “By opening their farms to residents and visitors, they are helping foster a greater appreciation for local agriculture and the important contributions farming makes to the County of Brant.”

This year’s event is sponsored by RTO3 – Hamilton Halton Brant through the 2026/2027 Partnership Fund Program.

An independent, industry-led, not-for-profit tourism organization, RTO3 is funded by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Gaming. It serves the communities of Hamilton, Burlington, Halton Hills, Milton, Oakville, Brantford, County of Brant, Six Nations of the Grand River Territory, and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.

The organizations aims to drive tourism growth, economic impact, and job creation through strategic initiatives including, destination marketing, product development, workforce development, industry training, investment attraction and partnership building with regional stakeholders.
