From the Louvre to Sao Paulo, and now a series of high-profile art heists in Italy, stolen art is once again making headlines and, in some cases, these thefts are carried out in mere minutes. Over the weekend, thieves stole four works attributed to Renaissance master Antonello da Messina from the regional museum in the city of Messina in Sicily during Italy’s Ferragosto holiday.
