The latest transfer news on Mason Greenwood to Fenerbahce, Michael Olise to Real Madrid, Julian Alvarez to Arsenal and more

Sandro Tonali has been linked with a move to Manchester United(Image: Newcastle United/Newcastle United via Getty Images)

Hello and welcome to Mirror Football's transfer live blog on Saturday, June 6.

Arsenal are reportedly the only realistic option to sign Julian Alvarez this summer. However, the Atletico Madrid forward is said not to want a move to London and prefers a move to Barcelona.

Manchester United are in line for a significant payday from Marseille as Mason Greenwood has agreed to join Fenerbahce, according to their presidential candidate, Hakan Safi. The Old Trafford club included a 40 per cent sell-on clause when offloading their academy graduate two years ago.

Real Madrid will reportedly make a £130 million move for Michael Olise if Florentino Perez is re-elected as their president, as expected. The Bayern Munich winger is said to be his priority over Joao Neves.

Real Madrid 'ready to move' for Van de Ven

Real Madrid are ready to move for Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven.

But it will cost the Spanish giants £75million-plus to snap up the 25-year-old.

Former Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is the new manager of Madrid, and he’s put a centre-back at the top of his wanted list.

Van de Ven is at the World Cup with the Netherlands and has taken over as their No.1 centre-back from Manchester City’s Nathan Ake.

The 6ft 4in stopper is a fast and energetic attacking centre-half who can also play at left-back if needed.

A source close to Van de Ven's camp said: "Micky ticks all the boxes for Mourinho. Real are ready to go for him."

Cancelo to Barcelona latest

Al-Hilal are prepared to lower their asking price for Joao Cancelo as Barcelona push to sign the defender on a permanent transfer, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Erling Haaland 'will be playing for Real Madrid in two or three years'

Borussia Dortmund president Hans-Joachim Watzke believes Erling Haaland will be playing for Real Madrid in two or three years.

Watzke told AS:

I know very well what he thinks and I can say that, of course, he admires Real Madrid and that in the future he would like to play for the club. But next season he will continue playing for Manchester City, without any doubt. He loves Real Madrid and doesn't hide it. I think he will play there in two or three years, but not any sooner. He has not committed himself to anyone, just as his father has said.

Premier League clubs 'preparing' £47m offers for Como 'jewel'

Two Premier League clubs are preparing offers for Martin Baturina, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

They are reportedly ready to pay as much as £47million on the Croatia international. Bayern Munich are also said to have made an approach and are monitoring Baturina. Como, however, are currently resisting approaches from other clubs, unless they receive bids of £69million.

Impressing at the World Cup could be key to convicing clubs to increase their interest to such a level that they are willing to spend such sums on the midfielder. Tottenham Hotspur are one English club credited with an interest in Baturina.

Bayern transfer stance on Harry Kane after Barcelona rumours

Bayern Munich will not be selling Harry Kane to Barcelona, according to BILD's Christian Falk.

The German champions are instead in talks over a new contract for the England captain as they really want to keep him for at least another season. There could even be an option for an additional year or even more.

It is said that the Catalan club will have to look elsewhere for an alternative to Julian Alvarez, who appears likely to stay at Atletico Madrid as they are equally unwilling to sell this summer. Barcelona need a new striker to replace Robert Lewandowski next season.

Savinho transfer stance clear as Tottenham reignite interest

Savinho wants to leave Manchester City for Tottenham Hotspur this summer, according to ESPN.

Spurs are said to be preparing a first offer for him after already making contact over signing the Brazilian. Man City reportedly want around £52million for Savinho, who wants to stay in the Premier League.

Tottenham tried to sign the winger last summer, when he reputedly had doubts about leaving. However, after barely playing last season, Savinho is said to be totally convinced that now is the time to move on with Spurs reviving their interest once again, despite Roberto De Zerbi now being in charge.

PSG aim to use Yan Diomande fee as Bradley Barcola benchmark

Paris Saint-Germain will ask for a similar fee for Bradley Barcola to the £112million price tag that RB Leipzig have on Yan Diomande, according to Paris-based journalist Fabrice Hawkins.

However, the France international has reportedly not told PSG that he wants to leave. Liverpool are among the Premier League clubs credited with an interest in Barcola.

Hawkins acknowledges that negotiations have gone on for two years without an extension, with now just 24 months remaining on his current contract. That situation will seemingly not stop PSG from demanding a record transfer fee for Barcola, more than they received for Neymar.

It is true that we received an offer for Said whose financial dimension was very close to the conditions under which we would generally have considered a transfer. After careful consideration, however, Said decided against a move to this club. That ended the matter for us.

Rafael Leao issues fresh Premier League come and get me plea

Rafael Leao has told Portuguese broadcaster Sport TV:

I need a new challenge. I already won two trophies in Italy and have been there for a while. The league is evolving, but for my style of football, I think the Premier League or LaLiga would make more of my talent, as a player. If a Premier League opportunity were to come along, I would be very happy. I think that I can put my talent up against the players there, who are of a very high level. Playing in that kind of a league really gets the best out of a player.

Curtis Jones compromise claim as Inter prioritise Liverpool midfielder

Inter want Liverpool to meet them halfway and let Curtis Jones leave for £22million, according to Tuttosport.

The Italian champions offered £17million last week after the Reds asked for between £26million to £30million. Reports in Milan also claim that Liverpool are very keen to include a clause that entitles them to a percentage of any future sale.

They are said to be prioritising Jones over Manu Kone, for whom Roma want around £40million. Inter head coach Christian Chivu reportedly prefers the England international, who is seemingly unwilling to extend his current contract, which expires at the end of next season.
