India's T20 World Cup campaign received a special boost on Sunday as teenage batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi extended his support to the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side ahead of their high-voltage clash against Pakistan.

The young star took to Instagram and shared a heartfelt story wishing the India Women team all the best for their tournament opener.

India begin their T20 World Cup journey against arch-rivals Pakistan in Birmingham in what is being billed as one of the most anticipated contests of the tournament. The two sides have been drawn in a highly competitive group, making a strong start crucial for their qualification hopes.The rivalry has largely favoured India over the years.
