St. Joseph’s College for Women (Autonomous) mourned the death of Sr. Albertine, SSJA, former Correspondent, Vice-Principal and Head of the Department of English. She died aged 94 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Vizag on Monday.

Principal Sr. Shyji P.D., along with the sisters, faculty and staff, expressed condolences and prayed for the repose of her soul. The college community recalled her dedicated service, wisdom, gentle nature and contribution to the institution.

Her funeral was held at 3 p.m. on Monday at St. Joseph’s Convent Church, Waltair R.S., Gnanapuram. Sisters, faculty, staff, alumnae and well-wishers attended and paid their final respects.
