Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) demanded a response from the Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, on the ‘controversial’ remarks by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and officially rename the Congress party as “All India Nazi Party.”
In a post on social media platforms, KTR questioned whether Mr Gandhi’s national slogan of “Mohabbat Ki Dukaan” and Revanth Reddy’s “Hitler’s Makaan” ideology coexist. “A democratic leader draws inspiration from actual statesmen, whereas only a ‘paranoid, power-drunk ruler’ searches for administrative lessons in brutal dictators,” he observed.
Mr. Rao claimed that the Chief Minister’s remarks were confession of a fascist governance mindset and an assault on India’s foundational values. He asked Mr Rahul Gandhi to break his silence and reprimand the Chief Minister or else it would be an endorsement of the remarks. The BRS leader suggested that “if celebrating totalitarian methods and destroying local neighbourhoods like a war zone is the party’s true blueprint for governance, they should drop their ideological facade entirely.”
