Vice President JD Vance poured people beers and served chili dogs during a stop in Cincinnati, Ohio, Friday after speaking to workers at a steel plant.

In a video from Fox News posted to X, Vance is seen serving beers and food to people at Price Hill Chili in Cincinnati. Vance visited the eatery after he spoke at the Cleveland-Cliffs Middletown Works plant in Middletown, Ohio.

“How are you guys doing?” Vance asked a crowd of people seated at the bar as he served them food. In the video Vance is also seen speaking with several customers and shaking hands with them.

There were reported to be roughly 250 people at Price Hill Chili. During his visit, Vance shared that he’d “last visited the iconic chili parlor about three years ago,” according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.”

“Anyone want a beer?” Vance asked, the outlet reported.

“POV: getting served a coney by @JDVance at Price Hill Chili,” one person wrote in a post on X, sharing a photo of Vance serving food across the bar. “Welcome home to greater Cincinnati!”

During Vance’s visit to Ohio, he also visited the Central Pastry Shop in Middletown, and as he was paying, he told the workers to “keep the change,” reminding them there are “no taxes on tips.”

“All right, keep the change — no taxes on tip, remember,” Vance said.
