Green grapes bunchInternational sales for fresh grapes exported from all supplier countries totaled to US$11.3 billion in 2025.
The value of exported grapes grew by an average 20.9% for all exporting countries from five years earlier in 2021 when international shipments of fresh grapes were valued at $9.4 billion.
Year over year, the value of globally exported grapes increased by 7.8% from $10.5 billion during 2024.
The top 5 most valuable exporters of grapes are world leader Peru, Netherlands, Italy, mainland China and Chile. Collectively, that quintet of major suppliers sold over half (54.5%) of total spending on fresh grapes bought on international markets during 2025.
Among continents, exporters in Europe sold the highest dollar worth of fresh grapes on international markets during 2025. Those shipments were valued at $3.2 billion or 28.3% of the global total. In second place were exporters based in Latin America excluding Mexico but including the Caribbean at 27.2%. Another 17.5% of worldwide sales of fresh grapes originated from Asia, with 12.8% coming from sellers in Africa and 10.7% from those in North America.
Providers in Oceania shipped 3.5% worth mostly from Australia and, to a lesser extent, New Zealand.
