Ryan Atkinson, 36, of Southampton has been charged with violent disorder. He is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates' Court later.

A crowd initially took part in a demonstration at the city centre police station on 2 June before gathering near the family home of Digwa. Violence broke out with 12 police officers and a police dog injured as missiles including wheelie bins and chairs were thrown.

Hampshire police said it brings the total of protesters charged so far to 22.
