Ontario Premier Doug Ford didn’t hold back his feelings on Canadian businesses that pay more for U.S. products when Canadian competitors are available for a cheaper price. When asked at a press conference in Vaughan Ont., on Thursday about a memo reminding builders to follow Ontario policies and buy from local vendors, Ford said, “It drives me crazy when I hear someone is buying something off the U.S.” “There’s nothing we can’t make here in Ontario or across the country,” Ford claimed, “I feel like a broken record player. Keep saying it. What don’t you get?
