Everyone’s favourite wallflower turned killer Rhiannon will return this Autumn, and Sky have the evidence in the shape of Sweetpea Season 2 first Trailer!

Ella Purnell will once again be returning to the critically acclaimed dark comedy thriller. The new promo teases it will be a ‘killer comeback’, she’ll have to be on her toes as there is a copycat killer on the prowl.

Every ‘killer’ wants to be unique, no one wants copycats. In Season 2, Rhiannon (Purnell) has that problem, to make things worse they are threatening to expose her. What can she do with a mounting kill list she questions herself.

Exciting times ahead, will Rhiannon escape and continue her killing spree with no complications? Check out these first look images from the new season…

The rest of the cast includes Rish Shah (Overcompensating, Joy) joins the cast as Rhiannon’s romantic interest Gabriel, alongside Tamsin Greig (Riot Women, Friday Night Dinner) who stars as AJ’s mother, Liv. Taj Atwal (Riot Women, Line of Duty) steps in as Freya, Rhiannon’s formidable new boss at the Carnsham Gazette, while Jenny Walser (Heartstopper, Star City) plays new friend, Daisy . Returning to the series are Jon Pointing (Big Boys, Run Away), Jeremy Swift (Ted Lasso, Downton Abbey), Leah Harvey (Foundation, The Scurry), Ingrid Oliver (Thursday Murder Club, Doctor Who), Nitin Ganatra (Mr Bigstuff, Sexy Beast) and Alexandra Dowling (Emily, Game of Thrones).

Synopsis | In Season 2, Rhiannon is navigating a new promotion, an irresistible rebound, and a copycat killer threatening to expose her. The kill list is mounting, and she is forced to question whether her perfect ex AJ, was right: is she a monster?

Sweetpea Season 2 will stream on Sky this November in the UK and Ireland, in the U.S Starz will show the series, arriving early 2027.
