The Brantford Bulldogs will hit the ice next week.

Brantford will open its OHL training camp on Monday at the TD Civic Centre, with practices, drills, scrimmages and fitness testing taking place through the week.

The team’s annual Black vs. Gold will take place on Thursday at 1 p.m. at the civic centre. Fans are welcome to attend.

Brantford’s pre-season games will take place Aug. 29 against Barrie at 7:30 p.m., Aug. 30 against Oshawa at 12:30 p.m. (both in Barrie), Sept. 2 in Guelph at 6:30 p.m. and Sept. 6 in Niagara at 2 p.m.

The Bulldogs will play at home on Sept. 4 against Niagara and Sept. 11 against Guelph, with both games at 7p.m.

The Bulldogs announced late last week that they had traded overage forward Luca Testa to the Colts for a fifth-round pick (2030) and a conditional 14th round pick (2029).
