Car parts, accessoriesGlobal sales for exported automotive parts or accessories from all countries totaled US$451.4 billion in 2025.
Overall, the value of auto parts exports grew via an average 10.5% gain for all exporting countries since five years earlier in 2021 when auto parts shipments were valued at $408.6 billion.
Year over year, the value of globally exported automotive parts or accessories slowed by -0.2% starting from $452.2 billion during 2024.
The top 5 auto parts exporters are Germany, mainland China, United States of America, Mexico and Japan. Collectively, those major suppliers generated over half (50.8%) of the total value of all exported automobile parts and accessories in 2025. That percentage belies a decline from 51.9% for 2024.
Among continents, European countries supplied the highest dollar worth of automotive parts exports during 2025 with shipments valued at $206.8 billion or 45.8% of the worldwide total. Suppliers in second-place Asia supplied 31.2% followed by shippers located in North America finishing with another 21.2%.
Tinier percentages came from providers in Latin America (0.77%) excluding Mexico but including the Caribbean, Africa (0.76%) then Oceania (0.2%) led by Australia and New Zealand.
For research purposes, the 4-digit Harmonized Tariff System code prefix for motor vehicle parts and accessories is 8708.
