Friday on MS NOW’s  “All In,” Florida Democratic Senate candidate Angie Nixon said, “people without access to mental health care” are taking their lives each and every day” because President Donald Trump is leading the country.

Nixon said, “I mean, you know, we are dealing with a woman who has voted to end the ACA subsidies, which knocked off nearly 300,000 people on the Affordable Care Act rolls and caused our private health insurance premiums to skyrocket, which is going to force people possibly into bankruptcy simply because they’re trying to stay alive.”

She added, “Unfortunately, Ashley Moody believes that these big corporations and these greedy billionaires are the ones who should determine the type of legislation and policies that are impacting our lives. I’m trying to figure out, for the life of me, why it’s okay, for her to think that people shouldn’t go bankrupt simply for going to the doctor. You know that this this type of stuff is near and dear to me. My sister took her own life because she didn’t have the mental health resources that she needed. And so people are taking their lives each and every day. And this is all because people like Ashley Moody and Donald Trump are in leadership.”
