One of the most highly anticipated streaming dramas of the year coming out on Apple TV in just a few weeks’ time has released its first trailer

Apple TV’s upcoming drama based on a bestselling novel readers have described as a “masterpiece” has just revealed its first trailer.

Featuring an incredible cast of Hollywood talent, the new eight-part drama will premiere in just over a month’s time on Wednesday, 15th April.

Eager fans have just been treated to the first trailer for Margo’s Got Money Troubles and it’s shaping up to be one of the best new series of 2026.

Based on the novel of the same name by Rufi Thorpe, it stars Elle Fanning as a young woman named Margo Millet who starts an OnlyFans page to support herself after an affair with her English professor leaves her pregnant.

Throughout the series she reconnects with her estranged father, Jinx (Nick Offerman), a former pro wrestler, and navigates her complex relationship with mother Shyanne (Michelle Pfeiffer), a former Hooter’s waitress.

The show’s synopsis describes it as a “bold, heartwarming and comedic family drama”, with the new trailer promising a vibrant, hilarious and risqué journey with Fanning’s plucky protagonist.

Margo’s Got Money Troubles also stars Academy Award-winner Nicole Kidman as Margo and her professor’s mediator, plus other major stars such as Greg Kinnear, Marcia Gay Harden, and rapper Rico Nasty.

One YouTuber user replied under the new trailer: “Michelle Pfeiffer and Elle Fanning as Mother and Daughter is insanely good casting.”

Someone else exclaimed: “Wow this looks amazing, can't wait!! Elle was incredible in Sentimental Value, she got that Oscar nom and now she's going for that Emmy LFG!!”

And a final fan simply declared: “I'm seated for Elle.” Expectations are definitely already high, especially among readers of the novel who have given it countless five-star reviews on Goodreads.

One user labelled the book a “Disasterpiece”, adding: “It is a combo of disaster and masterpiece, because Margo embodies both concepts, but also because this book is a masterpiece about a disaster of a human being.”

Another reader penned: “I have never read a book like this, nor do I think I will again.
